The last date to apply for PTET exam 2025 to be held for admission in a two-year B.Ed in Rajasthan has been extended once again. Now candidates can apply online till 25 April 2025. Earlier the last date for application was 17 April. This time this exam is being conducted by VMO University. The university said that they are receiving many requests from the students to extend the date, due to which this decision has been taken.
So far about 1.80 lakh students have submitted applications, out of which more than 1.13 lakh are female candidates. This time a special change has also been made in the examination in which the question paper will be made available to the candidates in their selected language. Which will make it easier for them to take the exam.
What is the qualification?
Candidates who want to be admitted to a two-year B.Ed course should have at least 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation. However, for native residents of Rajasthan who fall under the category of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, Divyang, Widow, or Divorced Woman, the limit of 45% marks has been kept.
Waiting for four-year B.Ed
Candidates of all categories will have to pay Rs 500 as an application fee. At the same time, the online application process of PTET 2025 for four-year B.Ed courses (BA-B.Ed and B.Sc-B.Ed) has been stopped for the time being. Students who were planning to be admission to the four-year course will have to wait for some more time. The new date will be announced soon by the university.
