Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin taunted Lazio in a subtle way after playing a key role in their Europa League quarter-final elimination, by posting a childhood photo of himself wearing a Roma jersey.

The 29-year-old stole the spotlight during the return leg at the Stadio Olimpico with a series of impressive saves, which helped his side stay in the game and eventually force a penalty shootout, despite a 3-1 defeat after 120 minutes.

Haikin then saved Valentin Castellanos’ final spot-kick in the shootout, securing Bodo/Glimt a place in the semifinals.
In a celebratory Instagram post the following dayHaikin included a photo of himself as a child wearing a Roma kit, with the number 10 on his shorts suggesting he was sporting a Totti jersey.
