Delhi Capitals’ experienced pacer Ishant Sharma was forced to leave the field due to dehydration after bowling two economical overs in the IPL 2025 clash against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The 36-year-old, who started well with figures of 0/14 in 2 overs, looked visibly exhausted and did not return after completing his spell.
Ishant’s brief spell included a tight over to Tristan Stubbs and Axar Patel, keeping the scoring in check with smart variations and slower deliveries. However, post the 13th over, he walked off the field with medical staff attending to him, reportedly due to dehydration as temperatures soared in Ahmedabad.
