The mortal remains of three victims of the Pahalgam terror attack—Atul Mane, Sanjay Lele, and Hemant Joshi—were brought to Bhagshala Ground in Mumbai's Dombivli, this evening for final viewing and tributes. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited the ground to pay homage to the deceased, who were residents of Dombivli.

The three were among the 28 civilians killed in the dastardly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on Tuesday. The solemn ceremony saw emotional scenes as family members, friends, and locals gathered to bid farewell to the victims.

Special Flights Arranged for Stranded Tourists

Earlier, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) announced in social media post that the state government had arranged a special IndiGo flight to bring back 83 Maharashtra tourists from Srinagar to Mumbai on Wednesday. The passenger list for the flight was shared officially.

In a follow-up update, the CMO stated, "Efforts are underway to arrange one more special flight today itself, and the passenger list is being prepared. Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol is providing complete support for the operation. All expenses for these flights will be borne by the Maharashtra Government."

State Mourns the Loss

The terror attack has sent shockwaves across Maharashtra, with leaders cutting across party lines condemning the violence. The state government has assured full support to the victims' families, including financial assistance and expedited arrangements for the repatriation of the deceased and survivors.
