Sara Ali Khan refers to the Pahalgam terror incident as “barbaric brutality” in a flashback post from Kashmir

Actor Sara Ali Khan expressed her sorrow over the latest terror incident in Pahalgam, a peaceful and picturesque area of Jammu & Kashmir. The nation is in grief after the horrific event that occurred at one of India’s most attractive tourist attractions.

Sara shared a photo from her last trip to Kashmir on her Instagram Stories on Thursday. Sara also shared the photo and conveyed her sorrow, describing the assault as an act of “barbaric brutality.”

“Heartbroken, shocked, and horrified by this barbaric brutality,” she said. Kashmir, according to Sara, has always seemed “serene, peaceful, and beautiful.”

“Shocked, appalled, and heartbroken by this savage cruelty. Our paradise on earth was a place of such calm, beauty, and tranquility. “Praying for justice and peace,” she said in her message.

Political parties and international leaders have vehemently denounced the heinous terrorist assault on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which has shaken the country. Bollywood stars also came forth to share their grief and rage.

Akshay Kumar, a Bollywood star, was one of the first to speak out. He described the incident in his X message as “sheer evil.”

Shah Rukh Khan expressed his sorrow at the deaths of innocent people on his X (previously Twitter) account and asked everyone in the country to be “strong and united.”

“The anguish and rage at the betrayal and barbaric act of violence that took place at Pahalgam are beyond words. One can only turn to God at such times, offer prayers for the affected families, and convey my sincere condolences. SRK stated in his post on X, “May we, as a nation, stand united, strong, and seek justice for this heinous act.”

Twenty-five Indians and one Nepali were killed in the assault, which targeted tourists in the Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam. Several more were wounded. It is regarded as one of the worst terror strikes in the area after the repeal of Article 370 in 2019 and one of the deadliest since the Pulwama bombing in 2019, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF members.
