According to sources, Wang Xiaofei gifted his daughter a Chanel 22 handbag worth approximately 50,000 yuan (US$6,854) and took her to a market in Beijing to select a pet. Ma accompanied Wang Hsi Yueh on shopping trips and helped with her hair styling.

On Weibo, viewers praised Ma for “filling the maternal gap” in Wang Hsi Yueh’s life.

Wang Xiaofei, 44, married Hsu in 2011, but they divorced in 2021 due to “irreconcilable differences.” After their divorce, Hsu rekindled a relationship with her former boyfriend, South Korean musician DJ Koo, 55, and married him in Feb. 2022.

Meanwhile, Wang registered his marriage to 26-year-old businesswoman and online influencer Mandy Ma in May 2024. Reports indicate that Ma was also previously divorced. The couple is planning to hold their wedding ceremony in Beijing in May.
