Jackfruit

Jackfruit – 1 kg (chopped) mustard oil – 300 grams salt – red chili powder, turmeric powder – 2 teaspoons fennel – 2 tablespoons fenugreek seeds – 1 tbsp yellow mustard – 2 to 3 teaspoons fennel – 1 teaspoon asafetid

Jackfruit Pickle Method

First of all, boil the pieces of jackfruit in some salt and turmeric, then filter it and dry it in the sun. After this, fry fennel, fenugreek seeds, mustard lightly and grind it coarsely. Now add fennel, red chili, salt, turmeric and asafoetida. Now mix dry jackfruit pieces and spices well in a large pot. Now heat mustard oil in a pan, cool the oil and put it in the pickle. After this, fill the pickle in a dry glass jar and keep it in the sun for 4 to 5 days. Keep it away from water and moisture, otherwise the pickle may deteriorate. Now prepare your jackfruit pickle and eat it with rice or roti and taste it with the family.
