Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech to the country on Operation Sindoor was praised by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who called it a daring statement of India’s unwavering position against terrorism and Pakistan’s deceit. Fadnavis emphasized the three “new normals” that PM Modi had laid out in his remarks to media on Monday, saying that they had sent a strong message to Pakistan and reshaped India’s security strategy.
According to PM Modi, there are three new normals. First of all, he said that any act of terror in the nation would be considered a war with India, and India will respond appropriately by retaliating in a similar manner. Second, PM Modi made it plain that “nuclear blackmail” would not be accepted. The third and most crucial point is that, while Pakistan has historically distanced itself from terrorist activities, turned its back, and claimed that non-state actors were responsible, India will no longer distinguish between the government and the master of terror. Instead, it will view them similarly and respond accordingly,” Fadnavis stated, echoing PM Modi’s tough rhetoric.
Fadnavis also emphasized PM Modi’s claim that “terror and talks cannot coexist,” emphasizing the PM’s need that any discussion with Pakistan be restricted to the repatriation of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and the fight against terrorism.
Additionally, PM Modi has said that terror and dialogue cannot coexist. According to PM Modi, if negotiations take place, they would only include PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir). According to PM Modi, India’s onslaught decimated Pakistan, and our defense system totally stopped Pakistan’s attacks, which led to Pakistan’s capitulation. “This ceasefire occurred after Pakistan called India and informed them that we had a ceasefire,” Fadnavis said.
Three major tenets of India’s security strategy were previously delineated by Prime Minister Modi in his speech to the nation during Operation Sindoor.
“Decisive Retaliation” was the first thing he stated. Any terrorist strike on India would be greeted with a forceful and determined reaction, and it will respond on its terms, focusing on the underlying causes of the terror networks.
“No Tolerance for Nuclear Blackmail” is the second. “Any terrorist safe haven operating under this pretext will face precise and decisive strikes,” he said, adding that India will not be scared by nuclear threats.
“No Distinction Between Terror Sponsors and Terrorists” was the third, and the prime minister said that India will no longer see terrorist leaders and the nations that provide them with sanctuary as distinct entities.
