Google made several important announcements at a big event on Tuesday night Indian time during Google I/O 2025. Among them, the most discussed project was the Project Starline, which has now been introduced as the new name Google Beam. This is Google’s first AI-based 3D video communication platform, which is going to completely change video calling experience.

It will look as if a person is sitting in front

Google Beam will give such an experience to users, as if the person in front of you really is present in front of you. This technique may be a part of a science fiction film, but now it has become a reality. Real time voice translation facility is also available in it, which will eliminate language obstacles.

AI tools making photos and videos from text also introduced

Google has also introduced such powerful AI tools in this event, with the help of which photos and videos can now be prepared only on the basis of text. It is a new chapter of creativity and productivity.

3D Experience with the help of AI and Special Display

The Google Beam uses AI, 3D imaging and special display techniques, which converts traditional 2D video calls into a very realistic 3D interaction. It offers a very natural and immersive experience.

Partnership with HP, will soon launch device

Google has partnered with HP to bring this technology into a workplace and corporate world. It is reported that by the end of the year the first Google Beam device may enter the market.

Zoom and Google Meet will have compatibility

Google plans to be combined with popular video platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom, so that users without any software change can become part of beam calls.

Voice tone and authenticity will remain intact

The Google Beam especially takes care that tones and feelings remain the same during voice translation. Google has also shared its demo video in its blogpost.
