The time has come for engineering dreams to take wings. The first round result for B.Tech/B.Arch courses in Delhi government's four major engineering institutes DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and IIIT-D have been released. From 10 to 18 June, students can get their document verification done to confirm their seats. A total of 6541 seats will be filled in these colleges through the Joint Admission Council (JAC).
Admission to engineering colleges of Delhi is taken under the Joint Admission Council. Its application process has already been completed. The last date for application was 2 June, and the first seat allotment was also released on 9 June, now it is the turn of document verification. The special thing is that the candidates will have to be present personally for document verification. The fee for the seat allotted to the student will have to be paid immediately after document verification. If a student does not reach for verification, his admission will be canceled.
What is the complete schedule of JAC?
First round: Seat allocation for the first round has been released, and document verification will be done from 10 to 18 June. Students will also have to deposit the fees by 18 June.
Second round: For this, the date for locking the seat for registration has been kept at 19 June. Seat allocation for the second round will be done on 24 June. For this, the date for document verification has been kept on 25 and 26 June.
Third round: Seat allotment for the third round will be released on 30 June. In this, the dates of 7 and 8 July have been fixed for document verification.
Fourth round: JAC's fourth round seat allocation list will be released on 4 July. For this, document verification will be done on 7 and 8 July.
Keep these in mind
If a student is dissatisfied even after the fourth seat allocation, he can cancel his admission till July 8,
If a branch upgrade is to be done, then students will be given a chance till July 10.
Information about the spot round will be given to the students on July 22.

Delhi Technological University (DTU): This institute is located in Chandi Park in the north-western part of Delhi. It is run by the Delhi Government and is one of the oldest prestigious engineering institutes in Delhi. It was established in 1944.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW): This institute is also in Yamuna Par, it was established in 1998. This institute is special in many ways.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIT-D): This institute is located in Okhla Phase 3 in the south-eastern part of Delhi. It was established in 2002. IIIT-D plays an important role in developing the latest technologies in the field of information technology and engineering.
