On Wednesday, Mai Davika shared a series of photos and videos on Instagram showing her wearing a diamond engagement ring.
“I’m engaged,” she wrote in the caption.

Their engagement also drew attention from the wider Asian entertainment scene, with Filipino Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Vietnamese singer Ho Ngoc Ha sending their congratulations. Over the past three years, the three women—who are all brand ambassadors for luxury jeweler Bvlgari—have regularly appeared together at events and frequently interact on social media.
Mai Davika and Dhanasevi first crossed paths on the set of the 2013 film “Pee Mak,” in which Mai Davika starred as the lead and Dhanasevi served as a co-writer. They later reunited onscreen in the 2017 romantic comedy “Suddenly Twenty,” where they shared several love scenes.
According to Thailaththe couple’s bond has remained strong and affectionate throughout their relationship. In 2023, they topped the publication’s annual “Most Beautiful Couple” poll, based on votes from more than 300 Thai celebrities.
Born Davika Hoorne, Mai Davika is of Thai and Belgian descent. She has become one of Thailand’s most prominent actresses, models, and fashion icons since her debut in 2010. She rose to international fame with her role in “Pee Mak,” Thailand’s second-highest-grossing films as of June 2025.
Dhanasevi, 42, graduated from Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University with a degree in Communication Arts, majoring in Motion Pictures and Still Photography. He made his acting debut in 2007 and began screenwriting the following year.
