British F-35B Emergency Landing: England's Royal Navy's F-35 stealth fighter jet made an emergency landing in Trivandrum, raising questions about its 'invisible' technology.
British F-35B Emergency Landing: The emergency landing of the F-35B (Lightning) fighter jet of the Royal Navy of England in Trivandrum, Kerala has raised a big question. The question is whether this fifth-generation fighter aircraft, which is described as stealth i.e. invisible to radar by America and England, really has the capabilities that are claimed. The Indian Air Force has officially said that its Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) not only detected this F-35 but also identified it.
The power of India's air defence was seen in Operation Sindoor.
This is the same IACCS system that foiled all the air attacks of Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Now the question arises whether India's air defence system has become so capable that it can recognize even stealth fighter jets.
How did the emergency landing happen?
HMS Wales is currently deployed in the Arabian Sea and was outside India's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIDZ). Late on Saturday night, the F-35B fighter jet failed to land on the aircraft carrier repeatedly for some reason. In such a situation, the plane took an emergency diversion and started flying towards Trivandrum. As soon as it did so, the ICCS of the Air Force detected the F-35 and immediately sent the Sukhoi fighter jet to take off. During that time, the pilot of the F-35 told the reason for the diversion. Only after this, the F-35B was allowed to land in Trivandrum.
Is the F-35 really stealthy?
America and England claim that the F-35B has been designed in such a way that it remains invisible. The radar cross section of the F-35 is considered to be very low, due to which it does not come under the radar's radar. To make it stealthy, even its engine and turbine have been completely masked. Even its weapons (missiles etc.) have been integrated into the internal parts of the fighter jet, while in other fighter jets the weapons are outside, which are visible and the radar immediately detects them.
F-35 was said to be ahead of Rafale.
Just two days ago, Eric Trappier, CEO of French company Dassault, had described the Rafale fighter jet as better and more advanced than the F-35 and all the fighter jets of China. Now India's success has proved that our detection technology is second to none. The Indian Air Force said that the F-35B is being given the necessary technical support so that it can return to HMS Wales again.
