GHOST9 ‘s Prince reveals an extreme diet plan
GHOST9‘s Prince, who is mostly known for his blunt take on life and funny videos as well, recently talked about the kind of diet he had to follow to maintain his weight.
The idol took to his social media account to share reels and stories of his daily life routines. In one such video, the idol starts by joking about how he had to skip many days to start the diet since he kept going out to eat with friends.
What he revealed next, however, shocked netizens and fans alike. The idol revealed that, as per his diet plan, he only eats one chicken breast a day, revealing that he fasts 23 hours out of the day.
Losing 5 kg in a week
The idol then shares how he ended up losing 5 kg in only one week, worrying fans further. He shared in the video that he continued the diet plan for at least 3 days and even worked out in the gym for at least 2 hours.
He also revealed that one hour of the gym would be spent on cardio training, while the other half would be spent on weightlifting and training.
Fans and netizens raise concerns
As soon as the idol uploaded the video to his social media platform, fans and netizens shared their concern over the extreme diet in the comment section. One fan commented, "K-pop groups need nutritionists to help them with healthy eating and healthy weight loss. Too many K-pop members talk about using an unhealthy, restrictive diet to lose weight for photo shoots or tours. It's sad and scary how normalized unhealthy, restrictive diets are in the K-pop industry."
Another fan expressed their concern over the video sharing, " Love you, my chingu, but just chicken breast? You need a small portion of carbohydrates daily and half a plate of steamed or roasted vegetables (no root vegetables) on that plate. Veggies have almost no calories and are nutrient-rich. Look, I'm paraplegic and lost 50 lbs. eating like that. Each plate should be 1/4 protein, 1/4 carb, and 1/2 nutrient-dense veg."
