Can anyone stop the two -time defending champion Carlos Alkaraz or the world number one Janic Sinner from winning a Wimbledon men’s title? Two of the world’s best players have won the last six Grand Slam, earlier this month they played the final of the French Open. Novak Djokovic is the last player of the “Big Three”, who refuses to fulfill his dream of the record 25th Grand Slam singles title, while Jack Draper is meeting British expectations.

We look at three important points before the tournament starting at All England Club on Monday.

Alkaraz-Sinner Show

Alkaraz’s goal is to become the fifth player to win at least three consecutive Wimbledon titles in Open Era after Byrne Borg, Pete Sampraras, Roger Federer and Djokovic.

Alkaraz, who defeated Djokovic in the last two finals, has reached the All England Club after winning the Queens for the second time, making his Grass-Cort Trophy four. After defeating Roberto Botista Aguta in Saturday’s semi-finals, 22-year-old Spaniel said that “Grass-Cort Mode is active”, a message that would create shuddering in the spine of his opponents. 23 -year -old Sinner remains the world’s number one player and has been impressed since returning from a three -month doping ban, reaching the Italian Open and French Open final, both of them lost to Alkaraz. Alkaraz returned after trailing from two sets, defeating Sinner in an epic final of Rolland Garos, leading to the fifth consecutive win against his Italian rival. Sinner then lost early in Halle Grass-Cort tournament, but his track record in Wimbledon is good, the semi-finals in 2023 and reached the quarter-finals last year.

Djokovic is still looking at history

Djokovic is still dreaming of setting an amazing mark on his incredible career by becoming the most successful single player in history.

Currently Serb has been occupied by 24 Grand Slam with long -retired Margaret Court and has not won any major victory since the 2023 US Open.

He lost to Alkaraz in the Wimbledon finals in 2023 and 2024, although he defeated his young rival in an attractive Olympic final last year.

Djokovic also has an additional incentive to win eight male Wimbledon singles titles with Retired Federer, the King of the Center Court.
