Light to moderate rain is expected in western Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir on June 28 and 29. This may lead to a drop in temperature in these areas, which may give relief to people suffering from severe heat. Monsoon is gradually becoming active in Uttar Pradesh. Moderate to heavy rains may occur in the state from June 29 to July 2. During this time, winds may also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has asked people to remain alert.
Still waiting in Delhi
The wait for monsoon in the national capital Delhi is getting longer now. Clouds are hovering in the sky but it is not raining. Due to this, people are facing severe humidity and heat. The Meteorological Department has not yet clarified when the monsoon will knock in Delhi. Heavy rains are also forecast in states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar from June 28 to July 2. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim may also receive good rains from June 28 to 30. A warning of very heavy rain has been issued in West Madhya Pradesh on July 1 and 2. At the same time, heavy rains may occur in East Madhya Pradesh on June 26, June 30 and July 1.
