Weather Update: Heavy rain havoc from Bengal to Madhya Pradesh, Meteorological Department warned these 15 states. Imd has issued an alert for heavy rains to these 15 states

Weather Update: With the monsoon being active, there is torrential rains in many areas of North India. From UP to Bihar, the monsoon has made its presence felt and now it can be admitted to Delhi as well. The Meteorological Department has expressed apprehension that today Delhi NCR may receive heavy rains. On Sunday, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain with thunderstorms.

Rain alert in 15 states
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alert for heavy rain for several states within the next 24 hours. These states include Uttar Pradesh, Western Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In these states, strong winds can be blowing at a speed of 40-50 kmph with thunderstorms.

Heavy rain in these districts of Kerala
IMD issued a red alert of heavy rain for three districts of Kerala, Malappuram and Wayanad on Friday. The department has also issued an orange alert for seven other districts of the state. Hoardings fell at some places in the state due to strong winds due to heavy rains. The trees were uprooted and the normal life was interrupted. The water level in the rivers has increased due to rain and there are floods like Ernakulam, Trishur and Idukki. The Churalamala river in Wayanad has come in spate due to continuous rains.

Alert in Madhya Pradesh
Please tell that on Thursday, Alirajpur, Tikamgarh, Neemuch, Sehore, Dhar, Harda and Barwani districts received heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh. IMD said that heavy rains are expected in Alirajpur, Jhabua, Balaghat, Mandla and Dhar Samant and other districts in the next 24 hours.

Charm with thunderstorms in Rajasthan
There is also chaos in Rajasthan due to heavy rains. Four people, including a woman, died due to lightning in Jhalawar on Thursday amidst heavy rains. Hanuman Garh, Bhilwara and Nagaur districts of Rajasthan received heavy rains. In Rajsamad, Sikar, Jaisalmer, Alwar, Nagaur, Dausa and Rajsamand districts, the intermittent rains lasted throughout the day.

There will be heavy rain in Bengal
There is a possibility of heavy rains in West Bengal by the Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the districts of Bengal, North 24 Parganas, Purulia, Eastern and Western Bardhaman, Jhargram, Bankura and Hooghly till July 1. Very heavy rains are expected in Southern 24 Parganas on 29 June and East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Jhargram, Bankura and Hooghly on 30 June.
