Know the easy way to make mango peda
To make Mango Peda, you will need some ingredients which are as follows…
What is the material
- Ripe mango pulp (pulp): 1 cup
- Mawa (Khoya): 1.5 cups (or 150 grams of cheese can also be taken by grating)
- Chinese: ½ cup (you can do more or less according to your taste)
- Ghee: 1 teaspoon
- Cardamom Powder: ½ tsp
- For garnish: finely chopped pistachios
Know the recipe for making mango peda
You can make mango peda with the help of some ingredients, for this you can adopt this easy method.
- First take a cooked mango, peel it and cut it into small pieces. Put these pieces in a grinder and make a very smooth pulp (pulp).
- Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a non-stick pan. Add mawa (or grated cheese) to it and fry it on low flame till it becomes light golden. Keep in mind, the mawa should not burn. Remove it in a plate and let it cool.
- Add mango pulp to the same pan and cook on low flame until its water dries and it becomes thick. Keep stirring it continuously.
- When mango pulp becomes thick, add roasted mawa and sugar to it and mix well. Cook this mixture on low flame until it starts leaving the edge of the pan and starts to gather together.
- Now add cardamom powder to it and mix well and turn off the gas.
- Remove the mixture in a plate and let it cool lightly. Get so cold that you can touch it with hand.
- Now apply a little ghee on the hand and lubricate it. Take a little part of the mixture and make a tree in round or oval shape as per your choice. If you want, you can also create a design by pressing a finger in the middle of the peda.
- Garnish the prepared trees with finely chopped pistachios or almonds and consume Bholenath as offerings.
