KTM seems to have heard the want and felt the letdown, as the company has launched the internationalspec 390 Enduro R in India, priced at Rs 3.5 lakh, exshowroom. This makes the motorcycle Rs 17,000 more than the Indiaspec version that was launched a few months ago, which gets lower suspension travel.

Internationalspec KTM 390 Enduro R — How different is it compared to the Indiaspec one?

The biggest difference between the motorcycles is the suspension travel. The internationalspec KTM 390 Enduro R gets 230mm of travel at both ends, while the Indiaspec one launched in April gets 200205mm, which is similar to the 390 Adventure.

This has resulted in more ground clearance, standing at 273mm – 19mm more than the Indiaspec one – while the saddle height has also gone up, standing at 890mm. The highlight of the motorcycle is the premium fullyadjustable 43mm WP Apex front forks and the WP Apex Split Piston rear monoshock.

Other elements are similar, as they sport a 2118 wheel setup with spoke wheels, disc brakes at both ends with switchable ABS, a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and music controls, amongst others.

Power is derived from the familiar 399cc, liquidcooled singlecylinder engine that makes 45bhp and 39Nm of torque with the help of a 6speed gearbox. The motorcycle weighs 165kg when fully fueled and ready to go. In terms of competition, the globalspec KTM 390 Enduro R has no rivals.
