HULs New MD and CEO: In a major announcement Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) on Thursday announced the name of its new CEO. The company which is Indias largest FMCG firm informed that Priya Nair has been appointed as the new CEO and MD and she will assume the office from August 1. By assuming office she will become the first woman to reach this position in the company. Nair is currently serving as the President of Beauty and Wellbeing of Unilever. As per the company Priya will serve the post for the term of five years. Notably Priya Nair will replace Rohit Java who is currently serving as the CEO and MD of HUL. His term is ending on July 31. Java took charge of the company in 2023. During his tenure he led the company even in difficult market conditions.
