Tej Pratap Yadav's Independent Rally in Mahua

Following his expulsion from the RJD, former Bihar minister and MLA Tej Pratap Yadav organized a rally in Mahua, indicating his intention to contest the upcoming assembly elections independently. During this event, he and his supporters displayed green and white flags emblazoned with 'Team Tej Pratap Yadav.' The unique leader from Bihar donned his signature green cap while conducting a roadshow in his former constituency, where enthusiastic supporters greeted him warmly.

Post-Rally Activities

After the roadshow, Tej Pratap Yadav inspected construction work at Mahua Medical College and engaged with the public. Notably, he refrained from using RJD flags or banners during this visit, opting instead for his team's flag. When questioned about the change in flags, Yadav stated, 'I came to see the medical college in Mahua. We promised during the elections that we would establish a medical college, and now it is complete. I fulfill every promise I make.' Regarding his electoral candidacy, he mentioned that the decision on which constituency he would contest from would depend on public demand, and whether he would run on a party ticket would be determined later.

Speculations of a New Political Party

There have been previous reports suggesting that Tej Pratap might establish a new political party, especially after the RJD closed its doors to him. Following his public announcement of a relationship with Anushka Yadav in May 2025, Lalu Yadav expelled Tej Pratap from the RJD and the family for six years. His brother Tejashwi Yadav, often seen as the face of the RJD, publicly supported their father's decision, fueling speculation about potential shifts in the political landscape.
