Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar resigns, letter written to President Draupadi Murmu, know what is the reason?

New Delhi : Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has resigned from his post. Dhankhar has written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu in this regard. It has cited health causes. Dhankhar said that he has taken this decision on the basis of medical advice, giving priority to his health. He has cited Article 67 (A) of the Constitution, saying that he accepted his resignation with immediate effect.

In his letter, Jagdeep Dhankhar asked for President Draupadi Murmu that I express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and a pleasant and amazing work relationship between us during my tenure. He also thanked PM Modi as well as the Council of Ministers. Jagdeep Dhankhar wrote that I have learned a lot during my tenure.

He said that the warmth, belief and affection I have received from all the Honorable Parliament members will always be in my memory. He further wrote that I am heartily grateful to the invaluable experiences and insights gained as Vice President in our great democracy. I am extremely grateful for the experience and insight I could gain as Vice President in this great democracy.

India’s extraordinary economic progress and to be a witness to the unprecedented development journey in this historic period have been a matter of pride and satisfaction for me. It was a true respect for me to serve in this transformation era of my nation’s history. As soon as I leave this prestigious post, I am proud of India’s global uplift and amazing achievements and my faith in its bright future is adamant.
