Emerging actress Zainab Mazhar recently shared her personal story of love and betrayal during an appearance on the popular comedy show Fun Night. The talented performer revealed how she endured painful deception in a past relationship before finally finding happiness.
Zainab began her entertainment career as a radio host while still in university. Her show Guru became a surprise hit, with listeners frequently calling in for relationship advice – an ironic twist given her own romantic struggles.
Though acting wasn’t her initial passion, Zainab discovered unexpected fulfillment in the craft. “Acting lets me express emotions I normally suppress in real life,” she explained. The stage became her safe space to laugh, cry, and experience what everyday propriety often prevents.
The conversation turned poignant when discussing unrequited love. “One-sided affection isn’t love – it’s torment,” Zainab stated bluntly. She believes in transparent communication about feelings, admitting she’d directly tell someone if she developed romantic interest.
With painful honesty, Zainab recounted her own experience with betrayal. “My ex made excuses about being forced into the situation, but I eventually realized it was all calculated deception,” she revealed. The heartbreak left deep scars that took considerable time to heal.
Now in a better place emotionally, Zainab playfully described her ideal partner – someone tall like her, preferably resembling actors Bilal Abbas or Fawad Khan. Her journey from heartbroken radio host to confident actress serves as an inspiring tale of personal growth in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
