Wang Xiaofei, the ex-husband of late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, gifted his wife, Mandy Ma, a butterfly-shaped diamond necklace worth 80,000 yuan (approximately US$11,148) for her 27th birthday.
On July 17, Wang hosted a birthday celebration for Ma, attended by friends and business associates, according to Sinchew.
Ma looked radiant at the event wearing a body-hugging long dress and makeup that highlighted her features, as she received well-wishes from guests, along with hugs and kisses from her husband.
She then opened the gift from Wang, revealing the luxurious necklace.
The day before Ma went live to share moments from her daily life with her followers. During the stream, Wang’s two children from his previous marriage with Hsu surprised her by entering the room and presenting her with a gift. She said she was touched by the children’s loving manners.

Wang and Ma officially registered their marriage in May 2024, and held their wedding ceremony in May this year.
Wang was previously married to Hsu, who passed away at the age of 49 in February, from 2011 until their divorce in 2021. The former couple shares two children: 11-year-old Wang Hsi Yueh and 9-year-old Wang Hsi Lin.
According to Taiwanese media sources, the children are currently living with Wang and Ma. Some reports have suggested that Hsu’s family needs Ma’s permission to visit the children, but Ma has denied these claims.
She stated that she has always encouraged Hsu’s family to visit, though they have never reached out to her to arrange such visits, as reported by China Times and cited by Znews.
