Basatere. Australia won an unbeatable lead of 3–0 on the series by winning 6 wickets in the third match of the five-match T20 series against the West Indies thanks to the explosive century innings of Australia’s batsman Tim David. In this match played at Warner Park, David scored his first international century off just 37 balls with 11 sixes and 6 fours, the fastest century in T20 cricket for Australia. Earlier this record was in the name of Josh English, who scored a century in 43 balls.

David’s innings is also the third fastest century in the international T20, faster than India’s Rohit Sharma and David Miller of South Africa have scored centuries (off 35 balls). David, along with Mitchell Owen (36* run, 16 balls), made an unbreakable partnership of 128 runs to Australia to 215/4 in 16.1 overs. Earlier, the West Indies batted first after losing the toss and scored a big score of 214/4 in 20 overs with the help of captain Shai Hope (102 not out, 57 balls). Hope added 125 runs for the first wicket with Brandon King (62 runs, 36 balls). Hope, after Chris Gayle, has become the second male player of the West Indies whose names are recorded in all three formats.

Australia began to start when Glenn Maxwell (20), Josh English (15), Mich Marsh (22) and Cameron Green (11) returned to the pavilion cheaply. But after this, Tim David overturned the match by scoring runs in a stormy style. Romario Shepherd took 2 wickets from the West Indies, while Jason Holder got 1 success. David also got a life of life on 90, when Brandon King left his easy catch on deep midwicket. After this, David did not make any lapse and completed his century by hitting a four on the final ball, West Indies captain Shai Hope said after the defeat, “200 runs were reduced on this pitch and especially on the small size of this ground.” With this victory, Australia’s consecutive victory in the West Indies has increased to 6, including a 3–0 clean sweep in the recent Test series.
