The film’s worldwide collection has crossed Rs 370 crore with Rs 120 crore earned in the second week alone. How did Ahaan Pandey break Shah Rukh Khans record? As soon as Saiyaara entered the Rs 200 crore club at the domestic box office it broke the records of Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 and Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par. But now Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda’s film has even surpassed the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. This film by the newcomers has broken the record of one of KSRKs blockbuster romantic hits. Saiyaara overtakes Chennai Express Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukones 2013 film Chennai Express was a blockbuster. The film directed by Rohit Shetty had recorded a collection of Rs 227 crore at the box office over its weeks-long run but Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Paddas film has now broken this record. Of course reaching that figure nearly 12 years ago was a significant achievement but Saiyaara is also expected to post a considerably higher total by the end of its run.
