In today's time, the internet has become a necessity for every home. Whether it is for online classes, work from home, or entertainment, everything depends on Wi-Fi. But many times it happens that people are troubled by the problem of a weak Wi-Fi signal at home. But people do not know that many times we are the reason for a weak signal. So if the WiFi network does not work properly in your house, too, then by adopting some easy tips, you can increase both the speed and coverage of your Wi-Fi.

Choose the right place for the router - Often, people keep the router in a corner or near the floor, due to which the signals become weak. Keep it in the middle of the house and at a height. Keep in mind that it should not be near walls, metal objects, a microwave, or cordless phone, because they interfere with the signal.

Reduce interference - Many devices can affect the Wi-Fi signal, such as Bluetooth speakers or any other wireless device. So keep the router away from them. Apart from this, if there are many Wi-Fi networks nearby, then change the channel of the router, so that a less crowded channel is used.

Buy a new router- If your router is older than 3-4 years, upgrade it. Get a dual-band or tri-band router that supports Wi-Fi 6 or 6E. The 5 GHz band gives faster speeds when nearby. Whereas 2.4 GHz band: Gives better coverage over long distances.

Update the router's software- Keep updating the router's firmware, so that both performance and security are improved.

Use a Wi-Fi extender or mesh system- If the house is big and there is no signal in some parts, then install a Wi-Fi range extender or mesh system. This will provide good coverage in every room.
