Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, labeling him as a weak leader. He expressed concerns that under Modi's administration, India is facing challenges from multiple fronts.
In a post on X, Gehlot stated, "Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule, India is increasingly isolated. U.S. President Donald Trump has been making baseless comments against India, claiming to have facilitated ceasefires between India and Pakistan on 30 occasions. Now, he is making decisions that adversely affect India's trade interests."
Despite these provocations, Gehlot pointed out that Modi has not once addressed Trump by name in his statements.
The senior Congress leader further remarked, "China and Pakistan have openly turned against India. While our armed forces have responded robustly, politically and diplomatically, India finds itself alone. This is a clear indication of Modi's failure."
Gehlot added, "In Parliament, Modi appears to evade direct answers. His government is unable to engage in discussions on various issues crucial to national interest. The failure to create jobs has led to widespread despair among the youth due to rising unemployment." He concluded by asserting that Modi, who claims to have a '56-inch chest,' is proving to be a weak Prime Minister.
