Rising star Fatima Amjed is making waves with her powerful debut performance as Madiha, Farhad’s sister, in the hit drama Main manto nahi hoon. While audiences are appreciating her on-screen presence and expressive acting, many are now curious to learn more about the woman behind the character.

Fatima Amjed is not just an actor — she’s a Lahore-based entrepreneur, educationist, artist, and trained dance performer. Her journey into acting may seem sudden, but her background tells a different story. A graduate of Lahore Grammar School and later the National College of Arts, Fatima is self-taught in the performing arts. She credits her love for Urdu to her father, whom she describes as a great artist and her biggest support system.

“My father was protective and hesitant when I stepped into media, but he never stopped me. Today, he respects my work,” she shared in a candid conversation on Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show.

Fatima openly discussed her privileged background, admitting, “This isn’t my bread and butter. I don’t have to worry about bills, and I know that’s a privilege.”

Currently single, Fatima is hopeful about love and dreams of performing for the man she falls for. “Love changes with time. It’s no longer about Bollywood romance but about maturity and balance,” she explained.

Her acting break came through a personal connection with director Nadeem Baig, who offered her the role after following her work. “No audition. Just a message and within a week, I was on set,” Fatima recalled.

From passion to performance, Fatima Amjed is proving herself as a talent to watch — both on and off screen.
