Why was Georgia Wareham absent?
The Australia-based leg-spinning all-rounder Georgia Wareham was ruled out of the Women's Hundred in the middle of the season after suffering from a groin injury. This happened right before Northern Superchargers' clash against Trent Rockets on Sunday, August 10. Later, NSC-W added Australian star Nicola Carey as a replacement.

Superchargers Clinch Women’s Hundred
Northern Superchargers (NSC-W) clinched the 2025 The Hundred Women’s final at Lord’s, defeating Southern Brave (Brave-W) by seven wickets with 12 balls to spare. Brave posted 115/6 in their allotted 100 balls, led by Freya Kemp’s quickfire 26 off 16 and Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s 25 off 20, while Sophie Devine contributed 23. Kate Cross and Annabel Sutherland picked two wickets each to restrict the total, supported by Lucy Higham and Nicola Carey’s crucial breakthroughs.
Chasing 116, NSC-W raced to 119/3 in 88 balls, anchored by Nicola Carey’s unbeaten 35 off 25 and Annabel Sutherland’s 28*. Phoebe Litchfield struck 26 off 13 at a striking 200 SR. Early wickets of Davina Perrin (17) and Alice Davidson-Richards (7) didn’t hinder the chase. Carey was named Player of the Match, while Litchfield earned Player of the Series with 292 runs. NSC-W’s superior scoring rate of 1.35 RPB against Brave’s 1.15 proved decisive, securing the title with comfort and displaying dominant all-round team performance.
