Whether you need to do online shopping or transfer money to someone, UPI payment apps are used for all this. Nowadays, people mostly make digital payments. PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm have many privacy features. Every transaction made by you is automatically saved in the transaction history of the app. Anyone can go to the app and see when and to whom you have transferred how much money. Many times, we do not want anyone to see our old transaction history or to know to whom I have made a payment. Keeping this in mind, Paytm provides the facility to delete the transaction history. However, there is no direct option to delete the transaction completely in Paytm, because this record is protected under the rules of the bank and RBI. Still, users can manage the history of their app or hide any transaction from it. By doing this, that transaction will not be visible in the transaction history section of the app.

Google Pay does not have a direct option.
If we talk about PhonePe or Google Pay, then there is no such option in either of these apps. However, for Google Pay, you can delete the transaction by going to Google My Activity. Let's know step by step how to delete the transaction history from Paytm and Google Pay.

The option is available here in the Paytm app.
If you want to delete or hide any digital transaction done from Paytm, then first of all, you have to open the app on your phone.
After this, you will get the option of Balance and History in the Money Transfer section on the home page itself. Click on it.
As soon as you do this, the transaction history will open in front of you.
From this, the transaction you want to delete or hide. Swipe it left.
Now you will get the option of Hide. Click on it.
Confirm the action once again. As soon as you do this, that transaction will disappear from the entire history.

The transaction will not be visible even in the contact's history.

For your information, let us tell you that if you go to the history of that contact and see, then that transaction will disappear from there as well.

This work will have to be done for Google Pay.

As we have mentioned above, there is no option to delete or hide transactions in the PhonePe and Google Pay apps. For this, you have to go to the Google My Activity page.

For this, first open the app and then click on the profile icon given on the right side.

Now you have to go to Settings. Then click on the option of Privacy and Settings.

After this, click on data and personalization. Then you have to click on the option of Google Account.

As soon as you do this, you will reach the Google My Activity page. Scroll down here and come down.

Now you will see the entire transaction history. Click on the X mark in front of the transaction you want to delete.

Then click on Delete. Now it will not be visible in the history.
