Enzo Maresca has been told he has a player in his squad that can be Chelsea's version of Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. The Brazil international has lit up football over the last few years and been hugely influential when it comes to Los Blancos regularly winning trophies.
The Blues also have several Brazilians in their first-team squad with Andrey Santos officially joined by Joao Pedro and Estevao Willian earlier this summer. All three featured in their country's 3-0 World Cup qualifier against Chile in the early hours of Friday morning.
Santos came off the bench for the final 24 minutes while Pedro started as the No.9 and Estevao was deployed on the right. In his 66 minutes on the pitch, the latter made a big impact and was able to score his first senior goal for Brazil.

Following Raphinha's shot being parried towards him, Estevao swivelled expertly and flicked the ball over his head and into the back of the net from very close range. He also showed his frightening pace and direct dribbling which gave Chile's left-hand side a tough evening.
Based on that, it is absolutely no surprise to see his Chelsea teammates tipping him for big things with comparisons made to Vinicius Jr.
"Mate, he’s from the street," Pedro toldThe Standardwhen speaking about the teenager. "You can see he is natural. Tosin said to me: ‘João, wow. Estevao is amazing’. Playing for Brazil and Chelsea at 18, oh my God. He’s going to be like Vinicius."
Estevao has just the one assist so far this season but could easily have more given the great positions he gets himself into. Pedro is one Chelsea player however, who has been regularly among the goal contributions with nine in his first eight games at his new cluband it is clear to see why he is getting so much joy.
Discussing his move to Chelsea, Pedro said: "When I arrived in the USA, Enzo said: ‘I want you as a No9’. In training, he says, ‘João, you need to be more clinical in this part, make a touch to the right here.’ I love this kind of coach. If you don’t get feedback, it’s difficult to improve."
While he did not score in Brazil's win, another Chelsea player was on target with Marc Cucurella firing in a superb left-footed strike form just inside the penalty area to score in Spain's 3-0 win over Bulgaria.
Considering how important his goals were to the Blues last season, Maresca will likely be very pleased he has opened his tally in all competitions for the current campaign.
Moises Caicedo was another expected to be in action but he was not even named in Ecuador's squad to face Paraguay. According to Ecuadorian journalist Maria Jose Flores, he was never considered for a role in the clash due to physical discomfort but is expected to return against Argentina on Tuesday, September 9.
Chelsea will be hoping that is the case and that the issue plaguing him does not persist given his importance to Maresca and because Cole Palmer, Liam Delap, Romeo Lavia and Levi Colwill are already out injured.
