Raveena on ind vs pak match: The much awaited match between India and Pakistan under the Asia Cup 2025 will be played in Dubai on Sunday evening. But there has been a huge controversy in the country regarding this match. Expressing condolences to the innocent people killed in the Pahalgam terror attack in April, a large number of people are demanding to boycott this match on social media. People appeal that the BCCI and the government should have removed this match against Pakistan.
In such an environment, actress Raveena Tandon has made an emotional appeal. He wrote on his X (East Twitter) account and Instagram story that if the match cannot be canceled, at least the Indian team should play a black band and kneel and pay tribute to the martyrs. He also hoped that one minute silence should be kept and the team will give this honor after winning.
Raveena also shared a BCCI news article, which told why India cannot boycott the match against Pakistan. Reacting to this, he raised the same question whether we cannot do so much for the martyrs.
The opinion of film personalities has also come out on this debate. Actor Sunil Shetty clarified that the players should not be blamed as they are bound to represent the country. He said that if I do not want to watch this match, then this is my personal decision, but the players cannot be blamed for this.
Actor Zayed Khan advocated keeping the game separate from politics. He said that the game is a game, let the relationship form in it. At the same time, Sai Durga Tej hoped that India will win this match and said that all his blessings are for India’s victory.
Significantly, on 22 April, 26 civilians died in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, mostly tourists. Lashkar-e-Taiba’s branch was taken responsibility for this attack by The Resistance Front.
