TikToker Samiya Hijab has pardoned her former fiancé, Hassan Zahid. She had earlier accused him of harassment, attempted kidnapping, and physical assault. She announced that she forgave him “for God’s sake” and decided to withdraw all cases filed against him.

On September 1, Samiya posted a video on Instagram. In it, she claimed that Zahid tried to abduct her. She said he physically assaulted her and also blackmailed her.

Islamabad Police acted on her complaint. They arrested Zahid and registered multiple cases. Initially, the court handed him over to police on physical remand. Later, on September 12, he was sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.

After Zahid was moved to prison, Samiya confirmed reconciliation. She said she had chosen to forgive him and would not pursue the cases further.

Speaking to media outlets, Samiya explained that Zahid’s family came to her to ask for forgiveness. She added that Zahid himself gave her a written assurance. In the note, he promised not to take any action against her in the future. On this basis, she decided to pardon him.

She rejected reports that money was involved in the settlement. She clarified that she had forgiven him purely for the sake of God. “My engagement with him has already ended. I do not feel threatened anymore. I feel safe now,” she said.

Earlier, Samiya had expressed fears that Zahid might take revenge if released without punishment. She had accused him of physical abuse and harassment in several videos and interviews.

Now, she says the issue has been resolved. She has forgiven her ex-fiancé and confirmed that all legal proceedings against him will be withdrawn.
