Victoria Beckham breaks down in tears in the teaser for her brand-new Netflix series as she gives her loyal legion of fans a never-before-seen glimpse inside her life and career. In her upcoming three-part documentary, from the makers of Beckham and Michelle Obama's Becoming, fans will finally see the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer open up about her life. In the teaser clip, viewers see Posh open up about the struggles of her now infamous fashion label, which was at one point millions of pounds in "the red" as her husband David admitted their money struggles left him in a panic.
She also shared some of her biggest ambitions, one of which was her deep desire "to be loved." But it won't just be heavy conversations. In lighter moments in the teaser trailer, Victoria jokingly admits she "can't even make a cheese and ham sandwich" and that she often comes across as a "miserable cow" from her various media interviews.
The streaming giant's first-look trailer, released on Wednesday (September 17), teases exclusive interviews with many of Victoria's famous pals, including Tom Ford and Eva Longoria. Her son, Brooklyn, was noticeably missing from the preview, aside from a snap of him as a baby following his ongoing estrangement from the family unit.
Despite the ongoing struggles with her eldest son, 26, Victoria has insisted that he remains part of the highly anticipated series, which will land on Netflix on October 9. One scene already confirmed sees Brooklyn helping staff clear the catwalk at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show back in September 2024 after a rainstorm drenches the runway.
Victoria is also seen calling in her family and team to be "all hands on deck" and mop up the mess before the models take to the stage. It has been confirmed that all four Beckham children feature in the upcoming documentary.
Brooklyn will appear alongside his feuding brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20. They are also seen in fashion-related segments, including a scene where Cruz is fitted for a suit ahead of one of Victoria's high-profile shows.
Her doting husband, David, who married Victoria back in 1999, had global success last year with his Netflix documentary, Beckham, where one of Victoria's dry one-liners became a viral hit.
The show covered tough and controversial moments throughout his sporting career from 1992 to 2013, even including private moments from the early years of their marriage dating back to 1999.
The Inter Miami co-owner discussed his notorious red card against Argentina at the 1998 World Cup and rumours of being unfaithful to his pop star wife. The footy ace later revealed why he went ahead with the docu-series in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
They quoted Beckham as saying: "It was one of those things I knew if I was gonna make it, I was going to make it once... it was really difficult. It took me a long time to come to terms with the fact that I was going to make it, but there were a few reasons why we wanted to make it.
"Through the pandemic, that's when documentaries really exploded. It was coming up to the 10-year anniversary of my retirement and I thought, 'Maybe this is the right time'." But Beckham also confessed to the uncomfortable side of sharing his world with the cameras.
He confessed: "I can't lie, it worried me, it made me nervous, it made Victoria nervous. I wouldn't say I hated it, I just would say it was very difficult."
