How does Yami handle pressure for cosmetic surgery? Yami says Such things happen. I believe almost every girl goes through this. Every actress experiences this. And this usually happens when you are very new and insecure making it easy for people to give you advice. Sometimes they don’t mean harm; they genuinely believe it’s the right thing. She further explains You notice if their advice works for anyone else on set. You have people around who think they can change your look but I am not someone who changes my face just because someone says so. Today it’s something about your face tomorrow it’s something else. I just listen smile and move on. A few months later they come back asking ‘You didn’t follow my advice did you darling?’ Unwanted advice from senior makeup artists Yami recalled a personal incident where a senior makeup artist suggested changing the shape of her eyebrow. She explains They wanted me to shape one eyebrow differently so it would look angled toward the other supposedly to appear more attractive and cool. My heart literally sank but I ignored it.
