Meeting to Tackle Flooding in Gandhinagar

On Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a meeting in his Lok Sabha constituency of Gandhinagar to discuss strategies for addressing the flooding issues.


During his visit to Gujarat, Shah instructed officials to devise solutions for the flooding problems in his constituency over the coming years. An official statement revealed that during a meeting held in the state capital, officials presented a comprehensive action plan to tackle this issue.


Shah reviewed the presentation and provided necessary directives. Later, at an event in the town of Kalol, he stated, “Instructions have been given to officials to resolve the flooding issues in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. Significant progress will be made by next year.”


The central minister also inaugurated or laid the foundation for development projects worth over ₹114 crores in Kalol. According to a statement from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shah later visited his hometown of Mansa to offer prayers at the Maa Bahuchar temple.
