One such similar situation happened when recently Indian choreographer and social media personality Dhanashree Verma opened up about her journey of marriage and eventual separation from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Dhanashree Verma who is currently a contestant of reality show Rise and Fall made some explosive revelations about her ex-husband who allegedly cheated on her. Dhanashree Verma on respect in marriage In a previous episode she explained that marriages come with the responsibility of protecting each others dignity. She said “Sabke haath mein apni izzat hoti hai and when you’re in a marriage you’re responsible for the other person too. Their respect is also your responsibility. I could have been disrespectful too you think I don’t have things to say as a woman? But he was my husband I respected him even when I was married and I have to respect the fact that I was married to him.” She also revealed that she has been a victim of constant trolling and how she deals with it. “If you want to portray yourself in a light let your work speak; why put somebody else down to clean your image?” she said. Dhanashree Verma on dealing with trolls Further reflecting on criticism Dhanashree added “When you know no matter what I do I am not going to be criticised then you don’t have fear. We live in a country where we know support will be favoured to one particular side. Still if you want to discuss that then it’s intentional but it’s okay please everyone be happy.” When Dhanashree Verma caught Yuzvendra Chahal. But what left everyone shocked was the moment she told actress Kubbra Sait while on the show that she realised her marriage wouldn’t last. Dhanashree revealed “In the first year when I caught him in the second month.” This statement of Yuzvendra’s spoke about his alleged unfaithfulness and infidelity. Hearing this Kubbra was stunned and said “Crazy bro.” Dhanashree and Yuzvendra parted ways in March 2024 after living apart for 18 months.
