A horrific accident occurred in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday afternoon. The Sun Classes Library located near Katiyar Cold Storage on Satanpur Mandi Road suddenly took place. This explosion stirred the area. Three died in the accident, while many people were seriously injured.
According to eyewitnesses, students were studying in the library at around 3:30 pm on Saturday, when there was a sudden explosion. The blast was so fast that the deceased youth’s rags flew and many students were seriously injured. People present nearby immediately sent the injured to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
The intensity of the blast can be gauged from the fact that the building where the coaching center was operated was shaken loudly. The furniture kept inside the building was completely damaged. Teenshed and pillars fell outside. At the same time, many bikes parked under Teenshed were also badly damaged. Wooden kiosks and other items kept around were also damaged.
Soon after the blast, there was chaos in the entire region. Eyewitnesses say that there was a strong smell like gunpowder on the spot. At present, the cause of the explosion is not clear. The administration has started investigation by sealing the area.
As soon as the incident was reported, City Magistrate Sanjay Bansal and CO City Aishwarya Upadhyay reached the spot with the police force. The forensic team has also started investigating. Officials are trying to find out whether the explosion occurred with an explosive material or it was the result of a gas leak or short circuit.
After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. Local people are saying that such a blast has never happened before. People are fearing that any explosives may have been kept illegally in the library. The police is investigating every aspect and assured strict action against the culprits.
