Materials:

  • Bread slices – 6
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Green chutney – 2 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Cucumber – 1 (thinly sliced)
  • Tomato – 1 (thinly sliced)
  • Boiled potato – 1 (sliced)
  • Onion – 1 (thinly sliced, optional)
  • Carrot – ½ (Grated)
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Pepper – as per taste

Action:

  • For this, first apply butter on both sides of the bread slices. Butter keeps the bread soft and not soggy.
  • Spread green chutney on one slice and spread mayonnaise (or butter) on the other slice.
  • Now arrange cucumber, tomato, boiled potato, carrot and onion slices beautifully on the chutney coated slices.
  • Sprinkle some salt and pepper over these vegetables. This adds flavor and freshness to the sandwich.
  • Place the second mayonnaise-coated slice on top and press lightly.
  • Cut the sandwich diagonally or into squares.
  • Now wrap this sandwich in a plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes. Serve when cooled.
