JDU has expelled these leaders from the party, prominent names of which are as follows-
JDU has clearly said that contesting elections as an independent will be considered an anti-party activity. Many leaders expressed their anger after not getting tickets and decided to contest the elections independently, which was considered a violation of party discipline.
JDU state general secretary Chandan Kumar Singh said, “The party will not tolerate any form of indiscipline and factionalism. At the time of elections, some leaders were trying to contest elections as independent candidates by adopting anti-party stance out of personal ambition, which is complete indiscipline. According to sources, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself reviewed the matter and directed that strict action should be taken immediately against such leaders.”
This action of JDU has also increased the stir within the NDA alliance. JDU gave a message to its workers and the public that there is no place in the party for those who break discipline.
