Bajrang Dal Leader Shot Dead in Broad Daylight in Katni; CCTV Captures the Chilling Incident, Tension Grips the Area

A shocking incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Katni district when Bajrang Dal district official Nilesh alias Neelu Rajak was shot dead in broad daylight. The brutal attack took place near the Bank of Baroda in the Kaimor police station area, where two masked men on a motorcycle followed Nilesh and fired at him from behind. Gravely injured, he was immediately rushed to the Vijayraghavgarh health center, where doctors declared him dead. The daylight murder sent shockwaves across the region, prompting heavy police deployment at the scene.

According to eyewitnesses, the attackers wore cloth masks and fled the spot at high speed after firing multiple rounds. Police recovered bullet casings and blood-stained clothes from the scene. The brazen nature of the killing sparked outrage among local residents, who took to the streets demanding immediate justice and the arrest of those responsible.

Soon after the incident, CCTV footage surfaced showing the two masked assailants executing the crime within just 12 seconds. The video shows the attackers trailing Nilesh on their bike, opening fire as he approached the bank, and fleeing immediately afterward. The chilling footage has become a crucial lead for investigators.

Upon being informed, police from Kaimor station arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Authorities are now analyzing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the killers. Meanwhile, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists expressed strong anger over the murder, demanding strict action from the police and administration. Sources confirmed that Nilesh was an active Bajrang Dal official known for his involvement in several social and community initiatives. Police are also exploring possible motives, including personal enmity or organizational rivalry.

The situation in Kaimor remains tense following the incident. Members of Bajrang Dal and Hindu Seva Sangathan gathered in large numbers, shouting slogans against the police and accusing them of negligence. They alleged that despite being informed, police arrived late, leaving the body unattended for hours. Senior officials, including the Superintendent of Police, rushed to the scene to pacify the agitated crowd and assure swift action.

With rising public anger and communal tension, additional police forces have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have promised to apprehend the culprits soon.
