Jio’s Free Google AI Pro Plan: Jio offers free Google AI Pro plan: Giving tough competition to Airtel’s Perplexity Pro Reliance Jio has joined hands with the world’s top search engine Google to provide its subscribers with the Google AI Pro plan. With this plan will get free access to premium AI tools. The subscription to this service which costs Rs 35100 per user will be available for select Jio 5G users for a limited period. This will mark one of India’s largest consumer launches of AI-powered services. Why Did Jio Partner With Google? The major collaboration betqeen Jio and Google was announced on Thursday. According to experts this is a strategic move by Jio to make AI tools more accessible to the countrys citizens. Currently the subscription is available for free for users who aged between 18-25. These users should have a subscription to Jio’s unlimited 5G packs in order to use this service. Jio is planning to launch the subscription for all eligible users in the coming months. What Will Eligible Users Receive? Eligible users will receive an 18-month subscription to Google AI Pro for free. They will get access to Gemini 2.5 Pro Google’s latest multimodal AI model; Nano Banana and Veo 3.1. The plan also includes two advanced tools for AI image and video generation; Notebook LM a note-based AI assistant for study and research; and 2 TB of cloud storage. Users can directly activate the plan through MyJio app after getting the activation message from Jio. What Did Jio And Google Say? In a joint statement Jio and Google stated that this initiative aims to “empower every Indian citizen and enterprise with intelligent tools to create innovate and grow.” The Mukesh Ambani company Reliance also confirmed that the partnership with Google will extend to enterprise solutions via Reliance Intelligence. This will act as the US-based company’s go-to-market partner for its Gemini Enterprise AI platform.
