UPPSC Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced recruitment for the year 2025. Candidates must possess a degree or postgraduate diploma in town planning from a recognized institution, such as the Institute of Planners (India) or the Institute of Town Planners (London).

Eligibility Criteria for the Research Assistant Position
Three vacancies have been announced for the Research Assistant position, with two positions reserved for the Unreserved (UR) category and one for the OBC category. The age limit is 21 to 40 years.

Eligible candidates must possess a civil engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, or equivalent government-recognized qualification. Additionally, candidates with experience in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' certificate will be given additional preference in the selection process.

What is the application fee?
The application fee varies according to the candidate's category and position. For the Assistant Town Planner (Specialist) position, candidates from the General (UR) and OBC categories will have to pay a fee of ₹125, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Ex-Servicemen candidates will have to pay ₹65.

For the Research Assistant position, the application fee is ₹225 for General and OBC candidates, while for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen, the fee is ₹105. All candidates must submit this fee online, including a nominal online processing fee.

Salary:
Candidates selected for the Assistant Town Planner position will receive a salary ranging from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100 per month under Level 10. Candidates selected for the Research Assistant position will receive a salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month under Level 7.
