Sanjay Kapoor Property Dispute: A heated hearing was held in the Delhi High Court on Friday regarding the property dispute between the children of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor’s third wife Priya Kapoor. During this, Karishma’s daughter Samaira made a shocking revelation in the court that her university fees have not been paid for the last two months. Samaira is studying in a prestigious university of America. But Priya Kapoor rejected this allegation outright. Expressing displeasure over this statement of Samaira, the court gave strict instructions that such things should not come before the court again.
According to Bar & Bench report, the Delhi High Court also heard an interim injunction petition filed by Karishma’s children. In this petition, Samaira and her brother Kiyan have demanded to stop Priya from selling Sanjay Kapoor’s property. On behalf of the children, senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani argued in the court that Priya owned the children’s property, hence it was her responsibility to take care of Samaira’s fees. Jethmalani said, “Samaira is studying in America, but her fees are pending for two months.” He also added that under the Hindu Marriage Act, the responsibility of children’s education and expenses was Sanjay Kapoor’s, which should now be shouldered by Priya.
On the other hand, senior advocate Rajeev Nair, appearing for Priya Kapoor, termed all the allegations as false. He claimed that Priya has already cleared all the expenses deposited in the name of the children. Priya’s other lawyer Shail Trehan was instructed by the court to handle such cases carefully in future. Judge Jyoti Singh said in a stern tone, “I do not want to spend more than 30 seconds on this issue. Such things should not come to my court again. The hearing should not be made into a drama. It is your responsibility.”
Delhi High Court has fixed the next hearing of this case on November 19. It is noteworthy that Sanjay Kapoor died of a heart attack on 12 June 2025 in London. After her death, Karisma’s children Samaira and Kiaan filed a case against Priya. He alleges that Priya has tampered with Sanjay’s will. The children say that Sanjay had promised to give them a share in his property, but now this fact is missing in the will documents.

Karishma’s children claim that their father had promised to give them a share in the property, but Priya snatched away their rights by making changes in the will. On the other hand, Priya is calling these allegations baseless. There was a heated argument between the two sides in the court, but the judge made it clear that he would not let the case become unnecessarily dramatic.
