The effect of cold is continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh. In recent days, there has been a slight increase in temperature due to change in the direction of winds, but it has not had any significant effect on the cold. Mild heat is being felt during the day, but it remains cool in the morning, evening and night.
People are no longer able to step out of the house without warm clothes. Wearing layers of warm clothes has started.
Bonfires are being lit at various places to escape the cold. The nights have become so cold that it is difficult to get out of the blanket. Morning fog and mist are also being seen in many areas.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned that the cold is going to increase further in Uttar Pradesh. This is only the beginning. According to IMD, severe winter is coming in Uttar Pradesh.
Due to weakening of westerly winds and change in wind direction in recent days, the temperature in Uttar Pradesh and adjoining states has increased by 1 to 3 degrees.
Due to the disturbance in the Bay of Bengal, north-eastern winds have increased, due to which the night temperature has increased by 1 to 2 degrees. The day temperature has also increased slightly.
There is a possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh soon.
A low pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal, which will turn into a low pressure area in the next 48 to 72 hours. It will affect the southern states as well as Uttar Pradesh.
According to IMD, there may be rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh between 26 and 28 November.
The Meteorological Department estimates that after the rain between 26 to 28 November, severe winter will begin in Uttar Pradesh.
There will be a drop in both maximum and minimum temperatures in the next 7 days.
The temperature may drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, due to which the real form of cold will be seen in the coming days.
