BK Sharat Bhai, a gardening expert in Tapovan, Sirohi, explains that many kitchen items can be used as fertilizer. Lemon peels are one of these. Many plants often die due to a lack of nutrition and fertilizer, and lemon peels can help replenish these plants' natural nutrients.

Lemon peels can be used to protect plants from wilting and keep them green. Fertilizer made from lemon peels is very useful for the garden. The citric acid and vitamins found in lemons help keep plants green and boost their growth. Therefore, these peels serve as a natural and effective fertilizer.

Using lemon peels also improves soil quality. To make compost from these peels, first chop the peels into small pieces and mix them with vegetable peels and tea leaves. Then, place the dried leaves and soil in a container. It's important to create ventilation holes in the container to ensure proper composting. Leave this mixture for a few weeks and it will become natural fertilizer.

To make compost, mix lemon peels and other green kitchen waste in a container and let it sit for 4 to 5 days. To speed up the composting process, stir the mixture occasionally to keep it aerated. In about a month, this rich compost will be ready. You can use this compost to fertilize your garden plants every few days. This compost will provide essential nutrients to your plants.

The amino acids found in lemon peels also keep mosquitoes and insects away from plants. Using this compost also acts as a protective layer on plants. Furthermore, using lemon peel compost strengthens plant roots, maintaining healthy growth. Thus, lemon peels are very beneficial for multipurpose gardening.
