Ayodhya, 25 November. A historic flag hoisting ceremony is being organized today at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Ayodhya. He will hoist the religious flag on the peak of Ram temple on the occasion of Vivah Panchami. PM Modi reached Saket Mahavidyalaya via helicopter from Maharishi Valmiki Airport. His approximately 1 kilometer long road show will start shortly, in which he will be given a grand welcome at 12 places.
Auspicious time for flag hoisting
The flag hoisting ceremony will start at Sapt Mandir at around 10 am. Prime Minister Modi will hoist the saffron flag on the peak of Ram Temple in Abhijeet Muhurta at 12 noon.

The peak of Ram temple is 161 feet high. There is a 30 feet high flagpole above it, on which the saffron colored saffron flag will be hoisted. The flag has the symbol of the Sun, ‘Om’ in the middle of the Sun and the Kovidar tree. This flag is a symbol of the history of Ayodhya, the tradition of Suryavansh and the depth of Ramayana. The length of the flag is approximately 22 feet and width is 11 feet. The total height after hoisting the flag will be 191 feet. This flag has been made by Kashyap Mewar and his team from Ahmedabad district of Gujarat.
Prime Minister Modi’s program
After reaching the temple, Prime Minister Modi will meet the engineers and workers building the Ram temple. He will also meet the flag making team. After this Prime Minister Modi will address the public meeting.
