Sudden resignation of prominent RLM leaders in Bihar

New Delhi: After the formation of the new government in Bihar, there has been a sudden change in NDA ally Upendra Kushwaha’s party Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM). Many prominent leaders, including the party’s national vice president Jitendra Nath, have resigned, which is causing political turmoil.

Many important leaders resigned

Signs of increasing resentment in the party

According to sources, resentment within the party started increasing after Upendra Kushwaha’s son Deepak Prakash was made a minister in Nitish Kumar’s new cabinet without holding elections. Regarding this decision, Upendra Kushwaha has also been accused of promoting nepotism. Senior leaders of the party have also been dissatisfied with this decision.

Jitendra Nath’s resignation letter

Jitendra Nath has written in his resignation letter that he has been working with Upendra Kushwaha for almost 9 years, but now he disagrees with many political and organizational decisions. He clarified that in the present situation it is not possible for him to work with the party and hence he considered it appropriate to resign.
