What is MAT program?

MATE means MIND ACTION THROUGH EDUCATION This program works not on illness but on wellness. Dr. Nand Kumar said that the MET program is working closely with CBSE for classes six and seven. In this, 50 schools of Meghalaya and Delhi-NCR have been selected. School counselor training has started. Currently running in 9 schools. Talking about mental well being. After five days of training, they are being sent to school and after that they are asked to observe the behavior of the same children. Then come back and discuss the observed issues.

Your home shapes your brain

Your home shapes your brain. Whenever there is a dispute between husband and wife, it affects the child. In such a situation, to reduce the dispute, we suggest measures which will increase the self-esteem of the child. This also affects the health between husband and wife. This affects everything from blood pressure to fertility.

Boring is necessary for life

Dr. Nand Kumar said that our brain needs relaxation. So that the brain can think fresh. We run away from boringness a lot, but this makes us creative. It is important to be alone for a while so that you can reshape yourself. There is no need to run away from boring. This is important for your mental health.

economically weak country

He said that in the context of India, such data has come which shows that mental health conditions are estimated to cause economic loss of more than 1 trillion dollars between 2012 and 2030. The number of psychiatrists in the country is very less compared to the population, due to which many people do not get timely mental health treatment.
