A recent tragedy has left the entire Hollywood industry shocked and stunned. Filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found dead in their Los Angeles home triggering an investigation that has now taken a deeply distressing turn. About Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiners Death According to authorities Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were discovered dead on Sunday at their residence in Los Angeles. Later it was confirmed by the county’s medical examiner that the couple died in a homicide caused by multiple sharp force injuries. While the police have not released details about the evidence in the case nor have they disclosed a possible motive or what led them to arrest Nick Reiner the 32-year-old was accused of having a connection with the murder. Nick Reiner Faces Murder Charge for Parents Killing Nick Reiner made his first court appearance on Wednesday where he waived his right to enter a plea to two counts of first-degree murder. He has been formally charged with fatally stabbing his parents. Nick was taken into custody on Sunday and is currently being held without bail. The next hearing will take place on January 7. Until then he will remain in custody at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department has claimed that Nick Reiner was responsible for the homicide deaths of his parents. Jake Reiner and Romy Reiners First Statement On the same day as Nick’s court appearance Rob and Michele Reiner’s other children Jake Reiner and Romy Reiner released a joint statement addressing their loss. Expressing the depth of their grief the siblings said “Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents Rob and Michele Reiner is something that no one should ever experience. They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends.” They further expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received during this painful time adding “We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences kindness and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life. We now ask for respect and privacy for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.” Jake and Romy Reiner also clarified that they are continuing to grieve privately while cooperating with authorities as the investigation progresses.
